Chairman, CPC
As the Chairman of the Convocation Planning Committee (CPC), I see our role as critical to the success and well-being of graduating students. While many may think our focus is solely on the convocation ceremony, our work extends far beyond that. The CPC handles almost everything related to final year students, from managing logistics to organizing events, ensuring that their last year is filled with meaningful experiences.
Our Mission
The Convocation Planning Committee (CPC) is committed to enhancing the final year experience for graduating students. Our role extends beyond just planning the convocation ceremony—we are involved in nearly every aspect of the final year journey. From organizing events to guiding students through their final year, we ensure a smooth transition from student life to the next phase.
What We Do
The CPC handles a wide range of responsibilities, from logistics and financial planning to community development and legacy projects. With a team of around 12 to 13 members, including roles like Chairman, Vice Chairman, General Secretary, Financial Secretary, Logistics Coordinator, and Public Relations Officer (PRO), we work together to cover every aspect of convocation planning. Our efforts ensure that final year students have everything they need for a successful and fulfilling final year.
Building a Legacy
Beyond just managing the convocation event, the CPC focuses on leaving a lasting impact through legacy projects and community initiatives. These activities help graduating students give back to the university and the broader community, ensuring that their time at the university is remembered for years to come. The CPC plays a vital role in making sure graduating students leave a positive and lasting mark.

Our diverse and dedicated team comprises individuals filling 12 to 13 different roles, from Chairman to Logistics Coordinator, ensuring every detail is handled with care. Together, we work to create an exceptional experience for final year students.
